Many of you may have invested some effort looking for wine product labels and wine beverage facts but you’ll notice that usage of this information is often varied and confusing at best. This method of learning is very time intensive and hardly anyone, including vineyards understands exactly what the completed wine item may really be like. So finding the best way to learn about wine is not an easy task. We do feel that “sharing” information you have is a great way for everyone to improve their wine knowledge and at the same time form a lively discusssion about our favorite topic.
It is widely known that reasonable use of dark wine is wonderful for you and based on readily avaliable health and fitness studies about red wine it is assumed to be a smart daily drink. A single wine glass each day for ladies and a couple each day for guys is believed to reduce the chances of many bad normalities and even stroke, several types of cancers, and cardiovascular disease. So the term “Wine is Heart Healthy” is rapidily gaining acceptance in many corners. Consuming greater than the specified amount of one to two glasses per day doesn’t seem to provide any advantages so it is discouraged.
Don’t take a good thing and ruin it by usind to excess! You know the old rule of thumb is to do things in moderation. Even a good thing!
A great deal of wine information and details about wine on the web pertains to common and well-known views or thoughts. These types of “facts” are everywhere as opposed to the controlled scientific studies that are often harder to find. But if you do your research you will come across a pletera of
scientific data about the benefits of wine and other spirits. I know it is hard to image but many of these beverages do have positive health aspects. There again, if consumed in moderation.
Although there is some complex data and research that does a lot to assist in promoting wine as a health food remember at its heart wine is a simple, elegant and very pleasurable drink to the senses. The bottom line is drinking wine is about how good it makes you feel. Not getting you drunk or having a buzz! That is not what I meant! But the wonderful event of smelling, tasting and sharing your favorite wine is a joy of life. So don’t feel you need to justify your wine passion in anyway more than just that. Enjoy!
